Mia exists as Sarah's living doll and serves as her designated 'face', presenting herself outwardly as a warm and approachable senior guide to Emily. As the protagonist grows, Mia's long-suppressed jealousy begins to surface alongside a distorted loyalty born of indoctrination, and she moves to exploit the abusive dynamic as leverage to manipulate her master's will in return.
