On the surface, Micchan appears to be an ordinary, gossipy elderly woman who loves prying into the private lives of Origon Village's residents, frequently sharing these rumors with Yoko Sonoyama. However, as Migi and Dali delve deeper into the mystery behind their mother's murder, she demonstrates remarkable courage and proactivity. While infiltrating the Ichijo household to help the twins gather clues, she accidentally uncovers the dark secrets of the matriarch, Reiko, leading to her being ruthlessly buried alive in the garden. Although she manages to be rescued temporarily, she ultimately makes a heroic sacrifice to ensure the brothers can flee safely from Reiko's clutches. Amazingly, physical death does not stop her; her friendly ghost returns to assist the protagonists during the final confrontation and she even continues to interact with Mother Sonoyama as a paranormal pen pal years after the story concludes.
