Midori

Midori is Ruruko's classmate whose distinctive green complexion immediately hints at her extraordinary heritage as a half-alien, half-human girl. Once the commanding leader of a middle school delinquent crew, she was arrested for illegal activities and given a chance to reduce her sentence by enlisting in the Space Patrol's Ogikubo Branch. Despite her casual and carefree way of speaking, she stands out as the most level-headed member of an otherwise eccentric organization, often serving as the straight-man who keeps things grounded. By the story's end, her competence earns her the position of Branch Chief.
