Mikhail Renfred

Renfred is a powerful sorcerer and alchemist who lost his left arm, appearing in the story as Alice's teacher and guardian. His deep-seated distrust of mages initially placed him in opposition to the main characters, though the tension between them was eventually resolved and he came to stand alongside them as an ally. In the second season, he accompanies Alice into The College, taking part in both instruction and investigation within its walls. Despite his outwardly strict demeanor and unflinchingly pragmatic outlook, his profound concern for his apprentice's safety and his unwavering sense of responsibility become unmistakably clear whenever a crisis unfolds.
