Miyuki Sagara

Miyuki Sagara hails from a long lineage of yamabushi mountain ascetics. Dispatched by his father, he enrolls at Hojo Academy under the guise of a student council member to watch over Izumiko Suzuhara—his childhood friend and the chosen vessel of a divine spirit known as the Himegami. Initially resentful of this imposed duty, Miyuki keeps Izumiko at arm's length. Yet as the two navigate a series of supernatural conflicts on campus, his guarded demeanor gradually gives way to genuine warmth and resolve. Ultimately, he embraces his role not out of obligation, but out of his own heartfelt determination to protect her.
