Momoyuki Mogura

This mysterious man, who insists on calling himself a 'sage', was barred from entering the underworld for reasons unknown, leaving him unable to die and condemned to wander the living world indefinitely. He takes up residence in a bathhouse known as 'Mogura-yu', carrying a lantern capable of collecting spirit flames as he searches for a way back to the realm of the dead. Though his words are cutting and his skin thick, an unexpectedly fervent sincerity lies beneath the surface. Drawing on his encyclopedic knowledge and dexterous hands, he guides university students through supernatural tales lurking within everyday life — an immortal figure shrouded in deep mystery.
