Motoko Izumi

Motoko Izumi is the mother of the story's protagonist, Yuki Izumi. Known for her gentle nature and a touch of airheadedness, she is well aware of her son's innate misfortune-prone constitution and deeply worries about him. Because of this, she holds great gratitude and trust toward Shikimori, who watches over Yuki, treating her almost like a daughter of her own. While nowhere near as severe as her son's, Motoko herself carries a slight tendency to drop things unexpectedly. Nevertheless, she remains a warm and uplifting presence who supports her family with an ever-positive outlook.
