Her fate took a dark turn when she met her end inside a clandestine research facility, only to be resurrected against her will by the enigmatic Ochiai using his sinister blood-thread parasite technique. Stripped of her own agency, she became a vital pawn in Ochiai's shadowy schemes. During the pivotal 'Battle of the Ninth Planet' arc, Mozuku was assigned to closely monitor and manipulate the powerful hybrid organism Tsumugi Shiraui, serving as the hidden link between the gauna-human hybrid and the crew of Sidonia. Though her actions are dictated by another's will, her role proves indispensable to the unfolding of the story's central conflict.
