Nanachi

Nanachi was once a destitute orphan from the northern reaches, lured into the treacherous Abyss by the honeyed words of the White Whistle delver Bondrewd. Subjected to the agonizing strain of ascending from the sixth layer, she defied all odds by emerging as an exceptionally rare Narehate—one who retained full consciousness and a coherent sense of self. Blessed with an innate ability to perceive the Abyss's invisible force fields, and armed with extensive knowledge of medicine and local ecology, Nanachi became an irreplaceable guide and field medic after rescuing Riko from the brink of death.
