Nanami Knight Bladefield

Nanami Knight Bladefield is the thirteenth princess of the Bladefield Principality, who leaves her royal life behind to study abroad at Hataya Academy and join the Quest Dorm alongside her fellow adventurers. Uniquely, she is the one person around whom protagonist Sōta cannot perceive any romantic "flag," making her an enigmatic presence from the very start. Though her noble bearing can come across as aloof, she harbors a genuine love of poetry and an unwavering sense of duty toward those she cares about. As the group's resident straight-man, she keeps everyone grounded with her sharp wit. A pivotal late-series revelation confirms that she is actually Sōta's biological elder sister, cementing her role as the story's central heroine.
