She is directly connected to the rumor of the 'right eye curse' that circulated during Yano's middle school years, and is considered a pivotal figure behind the psychological trauma he carries. Her sudden reappearance serves as the catalyst that drives the heroine Kiyoko to help Yano confront his past, ultimately uncovering the true reason why he insists on wearing an eye patch.
