Raizou Kurima

Raizou Kurima was once a loyal Satsuma samurai devoted to his lord, but he was deceived by the schemes of his superior and unknowingly took the life of his fiancée's father. After witnessing his fiancée take her own life before his eyes, he fell into utter despair. He subsequently joined the assassination organization 'Riben Kotoya,' carrying out vengeance-driven missions through his masterful Jigen-ryu blade work. Deeply honest yet unable to navigate social interactions with ease, he carries an unrelenting sense of guilt even as he performs cold-blooded killings, forever searching for a place where he might find atonement.
