Ranma Saotome

Ranma Saotome is the designated successor of the Saotome School of Indiscriminate Grappling. During a training expedition in China, he accidentally fell into the Cursed Springs, leaving him with a unique condition: cold water transforms him into a girl, while hot water restores his male form. He currently resides at the Tendo Dojo alongside his father, living as the betrothed of Akane Tendo. A formidable martial artist with an overwhelming sense of pride, Ranma comes across as brash and arrogant on the surface, yet is fundamentally honest and good-hearted—though remarkably oblivious when it comes to matters of romance.
