As the head of the longstanding southern inn Orioiya, he carries himself with a firm and unyielding demeanor. Though he initially treated Aoi with strict coldness, his true motivation lies in an unwavering dedication to protecting the southern lands and those under his care. He and Ginji once shared the role of guardian divine beasts, bonding as brothers. In the second season, his deeply loyal and compassionate nature comes to light as he joins the others to fulfill a sacred ritual.
