Reiko Hanyuu

Reiko Hanyuu is a classmate of Ushio Aotsuki whose life has been overshadowed by her late father's lingering obsession. After the passing of renowned painter Michio Hanyuu, his unresolved attachment manifested as a vengeful spirit bound within a portrait he had painted of her. Any male who drew close to Reiko would fall victim to the spirit's wrath, leaving her to endure years of isolation and quiet despair. It was only after Ushio and Tora worked together to untangle her father's deepest regrets that Reiko could finally smile again and return to school life. As one of the "Girls Who Protect Ushio," she stood her ground against Hakumen no Mono in the climactic battle, proving herself a courageous and emotionally vital presence in the protagonist's world.
