Ren Hoshijiro is one of Sidonia's elite Garde pilots, belonging to the genetically engineered all-sister combat unit known as the Hoshijiro Sisters, designated as member No. 706. Following her sister Homura's injury on the battlefield, Ren stepped up to claim her place as a full-fledged member of the Defense Corps. Known for her vibrant spirit and fearless attitude, she stands out among her sisters as the one who treats Nagate Tanikaze with the greatest warmth. During the fierce battle at the Ninth Planet, she leveraged her genetically enhanced physiology and honed piloting skills alongside her sisters to repel the Gauna, proving herself an indispensable force in Sidonia's survival.
