Rie Kurebayashi

Outwardly an unremarkable village housewife, she conceals a rare ability to perceive spiritual entities and guide them back to the other side. Having once witnessed the harrowing moment her late husband transformed into an otherworldly being and harmed their child, she remains acutely vigilant toward all supernatural occurrences. Throughout the story, she repeatedly warns Yoshiki that growing too close to non-human presences risks a dangerous 'mingling' of souls, making her an essential supporting figure who guides the protagonist in confronting and addressing the threats of the supernatural.
