Rin Onigawara

Standing at 158cm and born on February 3rd (Blood Type A), Rin Onigawara is the undisputed leading heroine of the story. She holds the top seat among the Supreme Five Swords, serving alongside Nomura in the same faction, and is entrusted with the duty of managing male students' hall passes — a role that reflects both her authority and her uncompromising pride. Her weapon of choice is the tachi, and as a practitioner of the Kashima Shinden Jikishinkage-ryū, she has mastered the esoteric "Aun Breathing Technique," a method of controlling her muscles through precise breath regulation, granting her the most devastatingly powerful strikes among all Five Swords. Her face is perpetually concealed behind an oni mask — now partially broken, leaving only the right-eye portion intact after fierce clashes with Nomura and Zan. The origin of this habit is a painful one: her mother, who harbored deep resentment toward a husband who had eloped with another woman, could not bear her daughter's resemblance to that man, and forced the mask upon her. Even after leaving home for the academy dormitory, Rin never abandoned it. On Nomura's very first day as a transfer student, she drew her blade against him in the name of purging undesirables — yet she was defeated, and an accidental kiss in the aftermath stirred something unfamiliar within her. Though she clearly holds special feelings for Nomura, she remains surprisingly innocent when it comes to matters of romance. Her favorite food is oni-manju. Her design is inspired by Onimaru, one of the legendary Five Swords Under Heaven.
