Originally inhabiting the body of a mathematics teacher under the name Ryouko Tamiya, this parasyte stood apart from her kind through extraordinary cognitive ability and an insatiable drive to question the purpose of her species' existence. She orchestrated a series of unprecedented experiments—including bearing a child and establishing an organized parasyte network—to probe these existential questions. Adopting the alias Reiko Tamura in her later years, she gradually developed genuine emotional bonds while raising a human infant. In her final moments, she surrendered without resistance to protect the child, meeting her end in a hail of police gunfire before the eyes of Shinichi Izumi—a death that carried an unmistakably human weight.
