Sabito

Sabito was a disciple of Sakonji Urokodaki who trained alongside Giyuu, forging a deep bond as fellow students of Water Breathing. During the Final Selection, he fought alone against overwhelming odds to protect his fellow examinees, ultimately sacrificing his life. His spirit later appeared to guide Tanjiro through his training. In the Hashira Training Arc, flashbacks shed light on his selfless act of saving others, and the will and teachings he left behind became the vital spiritual foundation that helped Giyuu overcome his inner darkness and carry on the legacy of the Water Hashira.
