Sapphire Kawashima

A graduate of the prestigious Seijo Junior High School, Sapphire Kawashima brings exceptional contrabass skill to the Kitauji High School Concert Band, where she serves as the anchor of the bass section. Despite her elegant given name, she warmly asks those around her to simply call her 'Midori,' reflecting her humble and approachable nature. Her commitment to music is absolute — she pushes through grueling practice sessions even when her fingers bleed — all while remaining a compassionate pillar of support for her fellow band members.
