Sensei

Mr. Nakai serves as the homeroom teacher for protagonist Chie Richinaka and teaches geography at her junior high school. Known for his warm and earnest personality, he pays close attention to the well-being of every student in his class. Because Chie regularly helps manage her family's apartment complex, she carries a maturity beyond her years and tends to spend time alone, which leads Mr. Nakai to mistakenly worry that she may be facing social exclusion or bullying from her peers. His keen observational nature and genuine concern for his students make him a truly devoted educator.
