Shalk is an undead mercenary operating under the banner of the New Kingdom of Lichia. Moving faster than sound itself, he is capable of cutting down his opponents before they even perceive the noise of his strike — a feat that earned him the epithet "Sound Cleaver." Having lost all memories from his life before death, he harbors doubts about whether his remains once belonged to a hero, and it is this unresolved question that drives him to enter battle. In combat, he fights with cold precision and efficiency, able to restructure his own skeletal frame to alter his attack reach, making him a formidable Shura of considerable power.
