Shiguma Arakawa

A top-ranked shin-uchi within the Arakawa school and one of its celebrated Four Heavenly Kings, he has earned the epithet 'Weeping Shiguma' for his masterful delivery of emotionally resonant ninjō-banashi. Having once served as the teacher of Akane's father, Shita, he was overcome with guilt and a sense of responsibility when Shita was expelled from the school, leading him to take Akane on as his own disciple. Known for his serious demeanor and deep reverence for tradition, he channels genuine and profound care into his demanding instruction, dedicating himself to preserving and passing down the artistic heritage of his lineage.
