Shirogane

Shirogane is a yokai sovereign who has lived for four centuries. While attempting to devour Kosuzu, a shrine maiden of the spirit world, he was subjected to a sealing technique by the ninja Matsuri, stripping away the majority of his power—though not before his counterattack inadvertently transformed Matsuri from male to female. Defeated, he took on the form of a plump cat and settled in as a freeloader alongside the protagonist. Despite his haughty demeanor, insatiable appetite, and lecherous tendencies, his prolonged interactions with humans have gradually brought to light both the profound wisdom befitting a king of yokai and his unmistakable tsundere side.
