Shouma Toriashi

Shouma Toriashi operates within the Osaka underworld organization known as 'Somei-gumi' and holds the position of adopted son to its leader, Renji Somei. Having grown up alongside the story's protagonist Yoshino Somei since childhood, the two share a bond as close as that of siblings. On the surface, Shouma leads the life of an ordinary Kyoto university student who also works part-time jobs; beneath that façade, however, lies a formidable fighter. Perpetually cigarette in hand and seemingly detached, he rarely lets his emotions show—yet his unwavering dedication to protecting Yoshino makes him the most reliable presence she has in the dangerous world of organized crime.
