Shoutarou Futaba's journey into rhythmic gymnastics began unexpectedly during the summer of his third year in middle school, when a breathtaking performance by Soushuukan High's boys' team left a lasting impression on him. Determined to chase that inspiration, he joined the club upon entering high school despite having zero prior experience in the sport. Through an exceptional natural sense of body awareness and relentless dedication, he has rapidly closed the gap with his more seasoned teammates, and now strives alongside them toward the ultimate goal of competing at the national championship.
