Sumie Ayado

Sumie Ayado is an underclassman attending the same school as Hikaru Tsutsui, introduced as a hardcore devotee of 2D anime culture. Her bond with Tsutsui initially blossoms through their shared otaku interests, gradually giving rise to deeper romantic feelings. Naturally withdrawn and plagued by low self-esteem, she tends to avoid social situations — yet the moment conversation turns to her beloved hobbies, an earnest and unguarded side of her shines through. As the story unfolds, the encouragement of those around her helps her slowly emerge from her shell, ultimately leading her into a relationship with Mitsuya Takanashi and marking a meaningful journey of personal growth.
