Taeko Nagafuji

Taeko Nagafuji is a cheerful high school freshman whose family runs a neighborhood butcher shop. She shares a long-standing childhood bond with Hino Akari, a friendship that traces all the way back to their kindergarten days, and now finds herself in the same class as Shimamura Hatsuki. Her naturally airheaded disposition and laid-back approach to life make her an easy target for Hino's playful teasing, yet it is precisely this carefree charm that brings lighthearted comic relief to the story. Though she occasionally feels self-conscious about the attention her appearance draws, her unshakeable easygoing nature keeps her grounded and endearing.
