Takao Kawafuji

Kawafuji Takao stands as the one and only true friend Handa Seishuu has maintained since their middle school years. Operating an art dealership in the heart of Tokyo, he has built a solid reputation through his keen professional eye. Despite his intimidating appearance — marked by piercing eyes and eagle tattoos spanning both shoulders — he is, at his core, a warm and generous individual who consistently goes out of his way to support Handa both professionally and personally. Serving as Handa's most reliable advisor and emotional anchor, Kawafuji plays a crucial behind-the-scenes role throughout the series. His one notable weakness, however, is an almost legendary inability to hold his liquor, which regularly leads to embarrassing situations and provides much of the story's comic relief.
