Taniguchi

Taniguchi serves as a teacher at the middle school attended by Yuzaki Sora, and works alongside Ms. Yagi Naoko as a fellow staff member. Known for his earnest yet timid nature, he has long harbored quiet feelings for Ms. Yagi without expressing them. In the second season, he finally musters the courage to invite her on a date and attempts to confess his feelings. Though his clumsy demeanor and persistent bad luck cause the process to be filled with setbacks, his genuine sincerity and sense of responsibility as a teacher leave a lasting impression.
