Tanta

Tanta is a young boy who calls the border town of Zoltan his home. As the nephew of the carpenter Gonz, he has formed a close bond with the protagonist Red. Though he has yet to manifest any divine blessing, he holds a heartfelt dream of one day becoming a skilled craftsman like his uncle. He once suffered from a condition known as 'White Eye Disease,' which carried the risk of blindness, but recovered thanks to Red's assistance—making him a key figure in portraying the story's warm, everyday moments.
