Tarou Jou

Tarou Jou is a freshman at Kansei University and the older half of an inseparable twin duo with his brother Jirou. Having played soccer throughout high school, he made a surprising switch to the track and field club upon entering university — motivated largely by the hope of impressing girls. He now sets his sights on competing in the prestigious Hakone Ekiden relay race. Carefree and a little dense when it comes to matters of the heart, Tarou genuinely believes he is the more dependable sibling, even as the two brothers remain practically glued to each other. Through dedicated training, what began as a lighthearted goal has quietly blossomed into a sincere passion for running.
