Outwardly recognized as the ninth emperor of the Tentei Empire, he is in reality its founding ruler — a monarch whose reign has stretched beyond a century. His fusion with a star spirit has rendered him a silver beastman, no longer fully human in appearance. Dwelling in seclusion deep within the imperial capital, he relies on a body double to make public appearances in his stead. In day-to-day life he is easygoing and notoriously averse to any form of hassle, often referring to himself casually as 'Mellen'; yet when circumstances demand it, he commands an overwhelming presence and authority that leaves little doubt of his true nature.
