To dodge an unwanted confession from an upperclassman, she proposed a fake-dating arrangement with Sakuta Azusagawa. Yet the anxiety festering beneath her cheerful exterior triggered an Adolescence Syndrome phenomenon known as 'Laplace's Devil,' causing the same day to repeat itself in a loop.
