Toni Anji

Toni Anji is one of the tattooed convicts, formerly serving as the head of a gang of blind thieves. Though he lost his sight enduring forced labor at a sulfur mine, that very hardship drove him to develop a remarkable echolocation technique using tongue clicks. After being brought into Hijikata's ranks, he carries out both reconnaissance and combat duties by leveraging his acute hearing alongside specialized sound-gathering equipment. Rather than lamenting his blindness, he tends to deflect its inconveniences with lighthearted self-mockery, making him an exceptionally dependable support fighter in the scramble for the gold.
