Umetarou Sakamoto

Umetarou is a 31-year-old high school history teacher whose true identity is that of a vampire hunter who has spent a decade pursuing the vampire Mori Ranmaru. As a descendant of Ryoma Sakamoto, he infiltrated the high school attended by Rin under the guise of a teacher, driven by a desire to avenge his ancestor. Despite projecting a serious and mission-driven demeanor, he harbors complicated feelings toward Ranmaru—including a wish to be bitten by him—and his true identity is never believed by those around him, resulting in a string of comedic misunderstandings that highlight the striking contrast between his formidable abilities and his chaotic daily life.
