Ushio Narumi

Ushio Narumi is the student dormitory roommate and close friend of the protagonist, Kakeru Sorano. He is a tall, well-built college student from the Kansai region with a bright, outgoing personality and a distinct Kansai dialect. Although he can sometimes be a bit pushy—such as forcing the introverted Kakeru to attend the freshman welcoming party where Kakeru ultimately meets the blind heroine, Koharu Fuyutsuki—Ushio is incredibly kind-hearted and dependable. He takes great care of his roommate, often waking Kakeru up to prevent him from oversleeping and even cooking meals for him, earning him the affectionate nickname "Mom" from Kakeru. As a deeply loyal friend, Ushio is always there to support Kakeru's growth and cheer on his budding relationship from behind the scenes.
