Watashi

The central protagonist of the story, she is a young woman from the dwindling Old Human race who serves as a UN mediator bridging the gap between humanity and the fairy-like New Humans. Outwardly composed and surprisingly skilled at making sweets, she harbors a deeply cynical worldview and a razor-sharp wit beneath her calm exterior. A self-proclaimed minimalist who prefers to conserve energy at all costs, she nevertheless finds herself perpetually dragged into the surreal chaos sparked by the fairies—navigating each absurd, post-apocalyptic situation with deadpan sarcasm and cool-headed resourcefulness.
