Wein Arbalest serves as the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Natra, thrust into the role of regent due to his father's deteriorating health. Gifted in the realms of politics, military affairs, and diplomacy, he projects the outward image of a flawless ruler. In reality, however, his true nature is one of deep-seated laziness—his ultimate ambition being to sell off the debt-ridden, minor kingdom and retire to a life of quiet leisure. Ironically, the schemes he devises in pursuit of this "sell the country" goal consistently produce unexpectedly positive outcomes, strengthening the nation and pushing his dream of retirement ever further out of reach.
