X-eins

A 19-year-old intelligence operative belonging to the Dorssia Military's special agency, holding the rank of Special Captain. Calm, composed, and sharp-minded, he is always seen wearing glasses. The name X-EINS is derived from the German meaning "X-1." Sharing the same hometown as H-Neun, his life was shattered twelve years ago when terrorists attacked their village, leaving him an orphan after the death of his parents. Discovered while seeking revenge alongside H-Neun, they were saved at a critical moment by Cain — then holding the rank of Major. The two trained in the same cohort and remain its only survivors. His loyalty to Cain runs exceptionally deep; he once declared, "Without Cain, neither of us would exist." However, H-Neun's death causes him to waver. In Episode 23, he uses H-Neun's earring — which concealed a miniature recording device — to reveal to A-Drei the truth behind H-Neun's death and the fact that the current Cain has become a Magius. He then joins A-Drei and the returning L-Elf in an attempt to assassinate Amadeus K. Dorssia at the venue. In Episode 24, he attempts a mutual destruction against Cain piloting Unit Two, but fails, and his unit plunges into the sea and explodes, killing him. In his final confrontation with Cain, he delivers his last words: "You betrayed Hano, and you betrayed my heart."
