Yahiko

Yahiko is a fox spirit gifted with the ability to shift between forms — appearing either as a lively young boy or in his true vulpine shape. Sharing a bond that stretches back to their earliest days, he and the proprietor of the monster inn, Abe Seisai, grew up as inseparable friends. Notorious for his relentless pursuit of sweets — candy in particular — Yahiko frequently causes headaches with his pranks and impulsive antics. Yet beneath his carefree, troublemaking exterior lies a genuine and unwavering devotion to Abe, making him an irreplaceable source of warmth and energy throughout the story.
