Yasuko Kouenji

Yasuko Kouenji is Nakano's next-door neighbor—a university student who moonlights as an indie manga creator under the pen name 'JUSCO.' Her lifestyle is decidedly laid-back; housework holds little appeal for her, and during crunch time she rarely steps outside her apartment. Her friendship with Nakano began somewhat rocky due to noise complaints, but a taste of Senko's home cooking quickly won her over. Mistaking Senko and Shiro for ordinary cosplay-loving girls, she often draws creative inspiration from their quirky behavior. As the story's resident representative of modern otaku culture, she provides a steady stream of lighthearted comedy.
