Yatora Yaguchi

As a second-year high school student, Yatora appeared to have it all — strong grades and an easy social life — yet a persistent sense of emptiness lingered beneath the surface. An encounter with a painting by his senior Mori became the spark that drew him into the world of art, setting him on a path toward the fiercely competitive Tokyo University of the Arts. Rather than relying on innate talent, he arms himself with an extraordinary work ethic and a clear-eyed ability to analyze his own weaknesses, using the canvas as a means to rediscover his authentic self.
