Yayoi Houzuki

Born with a rare double-pupil gaze shaped like skulls, this prodigious girl lost both parents in a traffic accident and witnessed her mother's soul being seized by a malevolent spirit. Driven by the singular goal of reclaiming her mother, she honed the ability to perceive both the living and spirit worlds. She developed a unique method of sealing captured evil spirits within dolls and cultivating them through a 'gu poison'-style process until they evolve into powerful entities known as 'graduates.' Leveraging her home tutor Hotarō's natural ability to attract spirits, she hunts across spiritually abandoned locations, working toward a confrontation with the powerful entity that took her mother.
