Yukine is the wandering soul of a boy who passed away at the age of fourteen, taken in by the stray god Yato as his personal divine instrument. Initially consumed by loneliness and envy toward the living, he struggled with defiance and inner turmoil. However, after enduring the grueling purification ritual known as 'Ablution,' he underwent a profound transformation—emerging reborn, his heart cleansed of corruption. Gifted with extraordinary combat talent, he awakened as the exceptionally rare Blessed Regalia, dedicating himself to both protecting Yato in battle and steering him toward a righteous path as his guiding 'Exemplar.'
