Unpopular opinion: The culture of bingeing dozens of new anime every season is destroying the medium
I know this is controversial, but I genuinely feel that the "seasonal anime consumption culture" is a problem.

Nowadays, many people follow twenty or thirty shows per season, sentencing a series to death after watching only a few episodes. This consumption pattern leads to:
1. Production teams being forced to pour massive resources into the first few episodes.
2. Slow-burn works having almost no room to survive.
3. Audiences losing the patience to appreciate works in depth.
4. Animators being pushed to the brink to meet deadlines.

In the past, we followed three to five shows a season and watched each one seriously. Now, it's thirty shows a season, and we just skim through them. What do you guys think?
