2026 Spring Anime Watch Guide: These Sequels Are Worth Looking Forward To
I've compiled some information on the 2026 spring anime season. It's a season with a massive explosion of sequels, so I'm sharing my watchlist.
March Premieres
"BEASTARS Final Season Part 2" (March 7)
As the distrust between herbivores and carnivores deepens, Legoshi and Louis begin taking action on their respective stages to confront Melon. The final chapter is coming to an end.
"One Piece" Live-Action Season 2 (March 10)
The protagonists officially enter the Grand Line, with characters like Chopper, Robin, Vivi, and Crocodile making their appearances.
"Rooster Fighter" (March 14)
Tells the story of a rampaging rooster sweeping away monsters for revenge. The art style is wild, and the plot is absurd yet high-octane.
"JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run" (March 19)
The long-awaited SBR arc is finally being animated! Disabled jockey Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli participate in the transcontinental "SBR Race," facing challenges from various Stand users along the way.
April Premieres
"Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World" Season 4 (April 3)
Subaru enters the Watchtower of the Pleiades, searching for a path to salvation and uncovering the truth behind Return by Death.
"That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" Season 4 (April 3)
With unwavering convictions in his heart, Rimuru's brand-new battle is about to begin.
"Dr. STONE" Final Season Part 3 (April)
The Kingdom of Science team will unite with new allies to build a rocket in the Stone World, aiming to revive all of humanity.
"Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun" Season 4 (April 4)
The story revolves around the protagonist Iruma Suzuki and his classmates working together to take on the Music Festival.
"Shunka Shuuto Daikousha: Haru no Mai" (April 6)
The nation has been without spring for ten years. The missing Spring Agent, Hinagiku Hanayaba, suddenly returns, and together with her guardian of ten years, Sakura Hime-taka, they embark on a journey to reclaim spring.
Personal Anticipation Ranking
1. JoJo: Steel Ball Run (SBR, which I've waited years for, is finally here)
2. Re:Zero Season 4 (The Watchtower arc has high-stakes plot points)
3. BEASTARS Final Season (The finale is a must-watch)
Which shows are you planning to watch this season?
