Hands-on Comparison: How big is the difference between a $200 prize figure and a $2000 scale figure?

Many beginners don't know the difference between prize figures and scale figures, so I've used actual products to make a comparison. Purchasing experience: Figures in Japan cost about HK$80-150, while in Hong Kong they cost $200-300. The price gap for scale figures is even larger.

Looking at the history of my collection, the quality of early prize figures was far worse. Today's prize figures could probably be sold as scale figures if they were released ten years ago.

Fellow figure hunters agree! Prize figures really have the best CP value. But once you fall into the scale figure rabbit hole, there's no turning back.

Such a useful comparison! Beginners really don't need to buy Scales right from the start. Prize figures are perfectly fine for getting started.
