The emptiness of finishing an anime at 3 AM—does anyone else get it?
It's 3 AM right now, and I just finished the final episode of Star Ocean Traveler in one go.
That feeling of emptiness is back... I know it's a fictional story, but when you've invested over a dozen hours of emotion into it and gone through so much with the characters, the sudden ending feels just like saying goodbye to a friend.
The worst part is not knowing who to talk to about this. Colleagues and friends might not understand why you're so emotional over a "cartoon." Only fellow fans would get it.
After you finish a great anime, what do you usually do to shake off that empty feeling? I'm completely unable to sleep right now...
